Health & Safety

Our Dedication to Health & Safety

Health and Safety is at the heart of our company culture, from Director level to site management, office support and operations, we are all committed to maintaining and continuously improving Health & Safety and Environmental performance. Keeping up to date with relevant industry law and legislation is a critical aspect of our operations. We continually assess the risks to the health and safety of all employees, suppliers, and others affected by our operations. Safety management and environmental systems are continuously monitored and measured.

All DGB operatives have a minimum CSCS qualification, supervised our team of SSSTS qualified Supervisors or SMSTS Site Manager, and First Aiders and Fire Marshalls are present on every site we work on.

Our cleaning operatives are COSHH trained, although we keep our use of hazardous substances to a minimum to lower our risks to the people involved in our operations and reduce the impact we have on the environment.

We only use fully trained window cleaners for window cleaning, who are specially trained to work safely at height.

PASMA qualified operatives are available when we are required to erect mobile towers or when other access if required.

All Equipment is inspected before every use, checked to British Standards and PAT testing is carried out as required.

DGB hold Constructionline Gold accreditation and are also accredited with CHAS, Achilles, Builders Profile and SMAS Worksafe (SSIP).

Our directors have the ultimate responsibility for Health & Safety and the implementation and communication to all staff. We are also supported by our NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety consultants, who can respond promptly to any client’s requirements and create bespoke RAMS and site-specific safety manuals.
